That time of year

Winter is upon us and a lot of people think that means fireworks season is over. Au contraire!
We Manitobans are a hardy bunch, we’ve never let a little snow get in our way and we at Archangel Fireworks are no different. We like to think positively about the winter months.

So what does winter mean to us?

1) Longer nights.

On the shortest day of the year the sun sets at 4:30pm in Winnipeg and that means you don’t have to wait until 10 or 11pm to shoot fireworks.
Everyone out there with young kids appreciates this (as do our pyrotechnicians who are out there setting up shows)

2) Beautiful reflections.

Snow provides a perfect canvas in the winter, fireworks light it up with dazzling colours.

Just see some of our examples:
3) Cold crisp air.

You know how everything sounds louder in winter? Sound carries across the frozen ground differently as colder air is more dense. Sound waves are more "efficient" in dense air. Apply this to fireworks and those loud cracks and booms sound louder and carry further. Perfect for all you noise lovers out there.
If that sounds like your cup of tea then try our Neighbour Waker pack!

4)Holiday shopping.

How is this a good thing you may ask?

We make shopping for the fireworks lover in your family easy. In store we have gift certificates in $20, $50 and $100 denominations. Skip the Christmas orange in the toe of your stockings this year, no one eats them anyways. Instead try putting a 24 shot Pearl Battery in there.

Once again we have coupons in the Entertainment Book for you budget minded shoppers out there. So dust off that book you bought when your neighbor/co-worker/siblings kids were fundraising for school and look for our shiny page of savings.

Or really impress them with an AMMO CRATE under the tree!

5) New Years Eve.

What better way to bring in the New Year and send out the old than with fireworks?

Try out our custom choreographed packs at your own New Year party or get bundled up and come watch the pros do it at one of our many displays around the province, our pyrotechnicians are already working hard to bring you the very best in fireworks this December 31st.

So to sum up, winter is dark, snowy and cold...

.. and that’s why we love it!
